Orla Kielys new line just hit Target earlier this month and I about died when I saw the new ad in Domino mag. The retro bold patterns are showcased on everything from mugs to aprons to cake platters. Some of the plates and bowls are in melamine but others are in durable porcelain. Prices range from $2.49 - $19.99!

I need everyone to mosey the cursor on over to the EQ3 website. Please. It's a mix of Bo Concept style with IKEA-ish prices. I just bought my beechwood dining table from here and it is about to become the center of attention in my humble abode. After speaking to the manager in-store about my excitement, he informed me that a EQ3 will be hitting the Big Apple in a year. Brace yourselves kids.

CB2's new catalogue was just released and I almost fell over in my chair when I saw the 70's inspired coffee table now for sale. The white lacquer finish with tapered mod legs are a must for any NY loft. Platform coffee table will set you back $399 and the Swoop Desk will run you $329. Eeek -- I'll keep you posted when these items hit the sale shelf. Don't they know we are in a recession?

Designer Pots for cheap

I couldn't help but freak when I saw these IKEA pots. The design seems to be a rip off of those Orla Keily prints that she uses on all of her bags, mugs, etc. Prices differ based on size and range in price from $5 to $12.99!

ZGallerie carries a LOT of fantastic faux bois pieces to clutter your home - my new favorite being this walnut wood grained pendant lamp. The BEST part being it does NOT require hardwire installation. $149.00 - not too shabby!

Bubbly Illusion

The MoMA Store is selling mouth-blown borosilicate glass that reveal
champagne flutes will filled. This trend seems to be sweeping the design
stores lately (Bodum has been making the double-insulated coffee and
latte glasses for years). Sold in a set of 2, both are durable and
dishwasher safe. Priced at 65$ or 58.50$ for MoMA members!

Papier Mache

Stray Dog Designs has started carrying some awesome objects d'art! Each is handmade of papier mache from artisans in Haiti and comes in 13 funky colors (or white). I dig the bird with the heart shaped tail -- and at $45, it can make a great wedding gift!
