Comparison Shopping: The Floor Mirror

West Elm's $399 Chunky Wood Floor Mirror in chocolate vs. IKEA's $99 MONGSTAD mirror in black-brown.

The Ikea mirror is actually 3'' taller. More bang for your buck if you ask me...

One of the most useful objects while decorating your home is a floor mirror. A floor mirror is basically a tall mirror that starts from the floor and goes upwards. A floor mirror can be based on wood or metal depending upon its type. One of the main advantages of a floor mirror is the fact that when used properly it will definitely make your room look larger than it actually is. For example, if you have a room or a hall that you want to appear longer; then all you have to do would be to place a mirror on the end of the hall to make it seem like longer. Or if you have space that is to narrow like a staircase or a narrow hallway, then you can place floor mirrors on both sides of the corridor to make it seem wider than it is. Another useful place for a floor mirror will be the closet doors. If you install a floor mirror on each closet door, then you will have a nice big room.

I want everyone who comes to my house to feel great! I really think it works! I got very beautiful ones from http://www.notjustmirrors.com! They sure make me fell stunning!
